On Writing (DVD)
On Writing is a series of extempore talks sharing with the novice writer and the matured professional the keys to writing authentically, from the heart. The talks are, on the surface, about the craft of writing. Listen to them at the right moment, though, and they will reveal to you something about the art of living, too. Preview the series now.
About the Production:
The series includes 25 talks. They have been recorded extempore. This production is an experiment by the author, who believes in starting anywhere, and then taking it from there. The raw and easy style of these talks is to make the listener comfortable, to get them beyond intimidation into action.
The talks were recorded in the author’s garden, her room, her lounge — while sitting, or pacing, or sipping tea. They are a conversation made directly to the heart of the writer who listens to them.
The talks range in length from 4 minutes to 17 minutes (on extremes). Each talk deals with a specific theme. For best understanding of the way of writing from the heart, listen to them all.
When looking for inspiration, pick the talk that appeals to you the most. You may open anywhere in the series, and then hop to other talks. Listen until the talk moves you to write. Write some, and then come back for more if you wish.
On Writing is just the thing you may need to get started with your next creative project — or your first! You can now preview the series and download samples, too!
